Lane became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2014, and is currently pursuing certification in EMDR Therapy for the treatment of trauma and addiction.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009. Since graduation, Lane has worked as a therapist for Family Net of Catawba County and as a middle school counselor at West Lincoln Middle School in Lincoln County. Her Family Net position involved providing care for children and adolescents in a day treatment environment. She worked with kids diagnosed with disruptive, Impulse-control, and conduct disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and substance-related and addictive disorders. Treatment was provided through individual, group, and family therapy. Lane's school counseling position involved working with kids, teachers, and families to help students overcome emotional and behavioral issues and achieve personal/social, academic, and career success.
Lane now provides services for children, adolescents, and adults to help them successfully navigate the challenges of life and find peace and healing. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual client or family. She has professional and/or personal experience with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, conduct disorders, and trauma-related disorders.
Lane welcomes people of all sexual orientations, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. She works with clients of all ages and can provide Christian counseling if preferred. She provides a caring, safe, and non-judgmental environment. She is willing to be flexible to accommodate your schedule.
