Stephanie has been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2010. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2004. Stephanie continued her education by graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne College with a Master of Arts in Agency Counseling in 2008.
Stephanie has over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. She began her career as a case manager before transferring to the mental health Mobile Crisis Unit while providing outpatient therapy services within a community mental health agency. Stephanie has served as an outpatient therapist in a private practice agency for 13 years. During this time frame, she has worked with children, adults, and families who are struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and trauma as well as marital/couples and family/parenting issues. Through evidence-based interventions of cognitive-behavioral and dialectic-behavioral direction and training in EMDR, motivational therapy, solution focused, and acceptance commitment therapies, she enjoys assisting clients with healing and growing to find meaningful connections within themselves and within their relationships.
